The five-metre high sculpture that adorns Ballina’s redeveloped Pearse Street received its official launch on Friday, July 9.
Constructed from stainless steel, copper, bronze and a special polyurethane resin, the sculpture – created by artist Joe Neeson – was launched by the cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council, Councillor Michael Burke, and the Mayor of Ballina, Councillor Frances McAndrew.
