‘Flow’, the new sculpture that adorns Pearse Street in Ballina, is the subject of an exhibition in the local library. The official launch of a new artwork by artist, Joe Neeson, at Pearse Street, Ballina, took place on July 9th.
The sculpture is 5 metres in height and constructed from stainless steel, copper, bronze and a special polyurethane resin. It is believed to be the first artwork of its kind in the country constructed from this unusual material.
